In the Intermediate B competition, Kiama Downs 4 defeated Beachettes 7 28-18. For Downs some fantastic team play secured them the well deserved win. Jenaya Goodwin and Tayhla Vuleta played the centre position perfectly taking full control of centre court and dictating the play. The shooters, Mara Willingham and Georgie Picton, worked beautifully in the attack circle, with the defence end of Sarah St.John, Shontelle Brady and Naomi Green working tirelessly to make it very difficult for Beachettes to keep the ball in their half. Jenny Wilson and Caitlyn Mitchell broke from the centre passes sensationally and took some great intercepts as well. An all round great performance from the Downs team.

In the Junior A competition, Gainsborough 8 showed great determination in both attack and defence to defeat Werri Beach 4 23-4. Some good goal shooting by Lily Thomson and Jade Cowgill, two of our 12 years representative players, paved the way for a great win. Special mention must go to Olive Ivanoff for her outstanding performance at goal defence, goal keeper and wing defence. Central 8 turned on some great attacking netball to defeat Beachettes 10 16-3. For Beachettes, who never gave up trying, Molly Hutchinson played a great game in defence with Bronte Emr and Grace Wheatley also working tirelessly in defence.

Junior B competition saw the tenacious Gerringong 7 side take on Berry 3 and what a tussle it was with Gerringong finally prevailing to the tune of 6-1. With Yasmin Coombs, Charlie Fulton and Belinda D’Alessio taking control of the centre court, Shaylee Dodd and Sarah Ramsay getting some fine intercepts and breaking down the Berry attack in defence, and Olivia Scerri, Allanah Butler and Holly Grigg taking care of the attack end of the court and shooting some fine goals, this paved the way for a great Gerringong team win.

In the 10 years competition, the strong Beachettes 12 team took control of the game against Werri Beach 5 defeating them 17-1. Beachettes welcomed Millie Menzies back and she showed that she remembered her spacing on court. Sarah Café and Eliza Jones worked hard in attack, whilst Kiara McEvoy and Ruby Chard took many intercepts and it was this tenacious play that secured the outstanding win.
